Mecmesin solutions for general engineering.
Around the world many civil, electrical, electronic, materials and mechanical engineering companies already use Mecmesin test equipment to test the quality, strength, performance and usability of their components, materials and finished products.
Mecmesin universal testers for force and torque range from 50 kN twin column in compression and tension, down to 500 N budget testers, and from 10 N.m down to mere mN.m in torque. What they all have in common is our powerful Emperor™ control and analysis software, and real versatility.
Test to ASTM, BS EN, ISO, DIN, CEN, VDI.
Tactile characteristics have become a very important aspect in TRV design. The Vortex-i has enabled Pegler Yorkshire to benchmark and assess new design proposals allowing detailed examination of dynamic characteristics and wear over prolonged use. As a result we can provide customers with TRVs of an increased quality and durability.

The Bioengineering Department at Imperial required a new system for teaching purposes to demonstrate tensile and compressive testing on a range of different materials and custom fixtures. A system was needed that was flexible and easy to use but with a compact form that would fit our available space. The MultiTest 5-xt was an ideal solution and the hardware support from Mecmesin has been excellent.

The Mecmesin machine is a great piece of kit – it has allowed us to move forward with our research in a very productive way, and we are grateful for the excellent technical support that has come with it.

Longcroft Engineering has a requirement to accurately measure the force on springs for a wide variety of applications. Clients frequently request new concepts and designs, and Mecmesin has been able to provide the versatility and quality we require, so that we can serve these customers.
Colin Hurst, Quality Chief Inspector
Not being an expert in force measurement, I have found Mecmesin to be an extremely capable partner in this field. They ensure that test solutions are found, they offer training in the use of the equipment and they are a competitive supplier of the service and calibration of all our measuring equipment.
Michaël Valdenaire, Quality Engineer
Historically, SFS intec UK has had to rely on our colleagues in Switzerland for all our product testing and reporting needs. Whilst this produced efficient results, it became apparent that we required a more time friendly and responsive solution for our local customers, so we decided to bring it in-house. Now, with the use of Mecmesin machinery which has been integrated into our facility at Leeds, we are able to offer an additional tailored ‘testing’ service for our UK customers, often much more quickly, whilst producing detailed results and accurate data.
Craig Johnson, Technical Advisor SFS intec
Having developed a medical device from a blank sheet of paper to a prototype level, we entered into a significant programme of test and development. Previous smaller test programs had used bespoke machinery developed in-house, which although suitable for the task, lacked versatility for the broad range of tests to be carried out, particularly from a programming standpoint. The test programme involved some 40 evaluations, to be conducted in a very condensed timeframe.

Use of the MultiTest 5-x has simplified and accelerated the testing of aircraft brake unit springs. Having input the parameters per the CMM into the unit, we were able to test a spring at the touch of a button and have a near instantaneous results without ambiguity. The machine has not only simplified the testing procedure, it has helped to improve the process and flow through the shop.

"We have made pull-out tests for many years, but with our new equipment, we get the result much quicker and with better accuracy. We can rapidly prepare and perform advanced tests and present the result in a more precise way for both customers and our colleagues, within research and development. The new equipment enables studies of how much force is needed to make a cable or pipe start moving within a seal. The test fixture was developed at CA Mätsystem AB (Mecmesin’s distributor) in Sweden, especially for Roxtec products, in order to enable a thorough testing of all existing Roxtec solutions. All results are stored in a database providing extended knowledge for future product development, as well as, useful information for customers and sales people."
Patrik Cederholm, Tests & Certificates Engineer
Roxtec International AB
“The MultiTest 2.5-i is very reliable and we have had no problems since we purchased it. Because it’s failure-free, accurate and has intuitive operation (very user-friendly software) it’s superior to the older control system from another supplier. It’s also worth to mention the after-sales support from ITA, Mecmesin’s Polish Distributor, is quick and efficient.”
