Emperor™ Software

VectorPro® Lite software
Available as an optional extra to Mecmesin's Digital Force Gauges (AFG, BFG and CFG+ and AFTI Digital Force Indicator, VectorPro Lite is an advanced data acquisition and plotting software package.
Simply select the appropriate interface cable for your Mecmesin force instrument and you are ready to enhance your testing with the power of VectorPro Lite.
Advanced data acquisition and plotting

Live tension and compression values are captured and automatically sent to VectorPro Lite to plot the graph of force vs time/displacement. This helps to visually identify any events during the test which cannot be picked up by just having a peak reading on the instrument display.
To help determine whether your sample has met the necessary criteria, there is a suite of standard calculations with indicators of pass or fail to immediately alert the operator.
A statistical analysis of results per batch of samples is produced and then incorporated, together with the graphs, into a customisable PDF or csv test report for your customer.

Advanced Force Gauge (AFG)
With ever-increasing demands for improved quality, durability and ease-of-use of all products, there is a growing need for more physical testing during the manufacturing processes. The Advanced Force Gauge (AFG) is a powerful instrument packed full of innovative features designed to suit a breadth of tension and compression tests.
The AFG is available in 10 models with capacities ranging from 2.5 to 2500 N, catering for a diverse range of industrial applications. All models are accurate to ± 0.1% of full-scale with readings in a variety of measurement units; N, kN, mN, gf, kgf, lbf and ozf.
Whilst most commonly employed for push and pull tests using its internal loadcell, the AFG also acts as a universal display for a selection of external ‘smart’ force and torque transducers. This means you can expand an AFG to perform tests of all capacities for tension, compression and torsion – all with a single display unit.
The AFG offers enhanced test features and data analysis capabilities:
- Max and 1st Peak mode - identify critical load points from the test
- Fast data-acquisition speed - captures break-force readings accurately
- Audible and visual pass/fail alarms - alerts operators immediately when testing
- Overload warning with trend bar - to minimise accidental damage to loadcell
- In-built storage for up to 500 readings - test rapidly now and download results later
- Data transfer via RS232, digimatic or analogue - output data to PC or printer for further analysis
- Connection capability to external loadcells and torque sensors - becomes a versatile display for many different applications
A clear and simple keypad layout ensures simple operation for all users. Dual function keys allow full access to configuration menus to set-up advanced tests. The AFG is constructed from a rugged aluminium housing and shaped to fit the hand making it small enough to be used as a hand-held device. It is easily attachable to a motorised stand, thereby making it an affordable first step to more controlled tension and compression testing where optimum repeatability is required. Alternatively, this powerful digital force gauge may also be integrated as a key component into your own in-house test rig.
Mains or battery-powered the AFG is supplied in a robust carry case with a mains adapter, set of rechargeable batteries, along with a kit of accessories. It is the ideal choice for tension and compression tests just about anywhere, making it the ideal solution for factory or outdoor use.
A calibration certificate traceable to national standards is also provided at no extra charge, ensuring full compliance during external audits
Basic Force Gauge (BFG)
The Basic Force Gauge (BFG) features a clear backlit LCD digital display and offers significant performance benefits over mechanical gauges.
It is particularly suited to force testing applications where quick, clear and accurate load readings are required.
The BFG range is manufactured in a rugged aluminium housing and comprises 6 models with load capacities from 10 to 2500 N. Accurate to ± 0.25% of full-scale, load readings in both tension and compression can be displayed in a variety of measurement units such as; N, kN, mN, gf, kgf, lbf and ozf.
The BFG can be used as a portable, hand-held device, ideal for measuring load on either the factory floor or outdoors. However, for more complex applications where greater precision and repeatability are required, it can be mounted to any of our manual or motorised test stands.
Alternatively, you may choose to integrate this handy force gauge into your own custom-designed test rig. Fitting ergonomically in the hand, the BFG digital force gauge clearly displays live loads for continuous monitoring and has a peak-hold function for capturing maximum readings in both tension and compression.
A simple keypad layout allows easy use, even for unskilled operators. All models feature an overload warning function to minimise the risk of accidental damage to the instrument.
The recording of test results is simple. The BFG comes equipped with RS232, digimatic and analogue outputs so you can transmit to a PC or printer at the press of a button. Compatible with Mecmesins VectorPro-Lite data-acquisition software, data from the BFG can be presented graphically, results easily calculated and test reports generated as PDF™© or in Excel™©.
Supplied in a robust carry case with a mains adapter, a set of rechargeable batteries, and a set of attachments. The BFG comes fully calibrated with a certificate traceable to national standards, ensuring full compliance during external audits.
Compact Force Gauge (CFG+)
The CFG+ digital force gauge represents a highly affordable alternative to mechanical gauges and features an accuracy of ±0.5% of full-scale.
There are 3 models available with maximum capacities of 50, 200 and 500 N.
A clear simple LCD display shows readings in the most common measurement units (N, kN, mN, gf, kgf, lbf and ozf). Values are shown as continuously changing ‘live’ or frozen in the display to capture the peak reading.
Manufactured in a lightweight ABS plastic housing, the CFG+ has a simple keypad and comes equipped with RS232 output for easy data transmission.
Its primary use is as a hand-held device but it’s design makes it attachable to manual test stands for more controlled testing. An overload warning function, to reduce the risk of accidental damage to the instrument by an operator, is standard on all models.
Powered by disposable AA batteries, the CFG+ comes with basic accessories for tension and compression testing. A declaration of conformity is supplied as standard with a calibration certificate available for a small additional fee.
