ASTM D3577Standard Specification for Rubber Surgical Gloves

1. Scope ... 1.1 This specification describes certain requirements for packaged sterile rubber surgical gloves used in conducting surgical procedures. Under section 8.5.2 Accelerated aging tests shall be conducted in accordance with Test Method D 573.

Test the gloves by either one of the following methods: 8.5.2.1 After being subjected to a temperature of 70°C for 166 hours, the tensile strength and ultimate elongation shall not be less than the values specified in Table 3. This method shall be the condition for referee tests.
