Cam grips

Cam grips - operate by virtue of one or two opposing eccentric cams increasing their clamping force upon the specimen as tensile load is applied.

The initial clamping is achieved by the cam being spring-loaded or having a lever-action to facilitate quick insertion and removal by the operator. Suitable for soft and flexible plastics, rubbers and textiles.
