Designed to measure the coefficient of friction (COF) to ASTM D1894, between two pieces of material.
The COF test determines the kinetic and static resistance of one surface being dragged across another.
This friction table can be mounted to the base of a motorised test stand and precisely levelled for optimum accuracy. The sled is connected via a fixing yarn to a test hook mounted onto the loadcell.
