Customised engineering example

A manufacturer of filtration products needed to test the extraction force of a respiratory filter when pulled from within an inline medical device.

A standard wedge grip securely held the filter itself, but the inline device needed to be correctly aligned below the loadcell each time for the pull-out test.

Mecmesin designed a fixture profiled exactly to the plastic body of the device, allowing rapid sample insertion for accurate and repeatable tensile testing.
