German leader in Force and Torque test and measurement Alluris acquired by Battery Ventures

In partnership with Mecmesin, Alluris will continue to pursue growth providing testing solutions for quality control in manufacturing and R&D through the development of innovative force and torque testers.

Alluris GmbH & Co. KG, a German company specialising in the design and manufacture of force and torque testing equipment for quality control, has been acquired by PPT Holdings, a Battery Ventures company.   Battery Ventures is a global investment firm focused on technology and innovation worldwide that has raised $8.9 billion since inception.

Alluris will join UK-based Mecmesin Ltd and James Heal Ltd as part of Battery’s Physical Properties Testers (PPT) Group.  In addition Mecmesins’ German subsidiary Mecmesin GmbH will move to the Alluris’ facility in Freiburg.

In partnership with Mecmesin, Alluris will continue to pursue growth providing testing solutions for quality control in manufacturing and R&D through the development of innovative force and torque testers.

Manuel Migliore, Commercial Director will lead operations for both Alluris and Mecmesin in Germany.  He will report through to Declan Tierney, PPT Regional Director for EMEA.

Battery's additional resources will support increased investment in new product development and complementary acquisitions.  The vision of PPT is to become the largest independent platform of companies in the physical property testing market, a multi-branded global platform that can provide testing solutions across all different types of standards, materials and applications.
