Testing Syringe Luer Lock Rotation Torque

The Vortex-i computer controlled torque testing system is used to measure the minimum torque before the Luer lock fitting on a syringe barrel begins to rotate as part of a Quality Control procedure. A set of custom adaptors has been made to fit the various different length syringe barrels to be tested. Emperor software controls the movement of the Vortex-i stand, collects the data and checks if the sample is within the specified range before displaying a colour coded "Pass" or "Fail" result. All the results can be saved and, if needed, the raw measurement data can be exported to Microsoft Excel for additional analysis.
