Mecmesin exhibiting at Interplas

Mecmesin will be demonstrating a range of their force & torque testing equipment at Interplas this year on stand G158, giving visitors the opportunity to see first-hand how effective and critical it is to test products and maintain quality control throughout design, manufacture and production.

Since 1977 Mecmesin have been designing and manufacturing force & torque testing equipment in correlation with their customers needs. This has led to the production of 3 distinct types of force testing system; motorised (MultiTest-d), console controlled (MultiTest-x) and computer-controlled (MultiTest-i).

Motorised Test Sytems

Motorised test systems are the entry-level product for those wishing to do straightforward tensile and compression testing. The MultiTest-d range of digital motorised test systems utilise a large LCD screen to offer comprehensive test settings and result information and can be used in manual, single or continuous cycle mode for automated testing of both force and displacement.

Console-controlled Test Systems

The console-controlled test systems offer greater flexibility as they are programmable, yet retain a small footprint and are therefore ideal for the factory floor and production line testing. The MultiTest-x range offers an all-in-one solution enabling programs to be created and stored for selection by other operators to ensure quick and easy test operation time after time.

Computer-controlled Test Systems

The top of the range computer-controlled testing systems offer full programming control and in-depth analysis possibilities with an easy-to-use graphical interface ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the test and its outcome, which is particularly suited to the laboratory environment. The MultiTest-i range gives full control over the test to the operator and enables thorough reporting with easy-to-use diagnostic tools.

Torque Testers

Mecmesin torque testers offer a similar level of flexibility starting at the manual digital torque testers (Tornado & Orbis), capable of measuring low-level application and removal torque values. The Tornado provides enhanced measurement through an on-board memory, pass/fail alarms and its ability to measure both the 'slip' torque and 'bridge' torque of tamper-evident closures.

The Vortex-i computer-controlled torque testing system completes the range enabling operators to create simple and sophisticated programs through the use of Mecmesin's powerful Emperor torque software.
