Scissor grips

Scissor grips - self-tightening and self-aligning with the specimen initially being held by spring tension.

The ratio of clamping force to tensile force changes in proportion to the opening width, therefore, the wider the opening the stronger the clamping force exerted upon the specimen.

Available with locking function to facilitate removal of the specimen after testing. Suitable for highly ductile plastics and elastomers.
