service. We have a fully equipped climate-controlled laboratory and a team of experienced engineers who offer
a quick and efficient calibration and repair service and can help you with your product or application related
queries or problems. Alternatively you can contact your local distributor for calibration and service assistance.
Our world-wide network of distributors, are trained to provide local sales and application support. Your local

Calibration:
Prior to despatch all Mecmesin force gages, torque gages and loadcells are subjected to rigorous calibration
routines, which test all operational parameters in our climate-controlled laboratory. Our laboratory operates
in accordance with international quality standards and all procedures used are regularly audited as part of our
ISO 9001 (2000) accreditation.
All calibrated gauges and loadcells are supplied with Calibration Certificates fully traceable to UK National
Standards. We recommend that your force gauges, torque gauges and loadcells are calibrated on a yearly basis,
although calibration may be required more often depending on usage levels or company policy. To give you an
advance warning of a due calibration, a helpful reminder will be sent to you 11 months after your last calibration
was performed.
You can pre-book the calibration of your instrument on a specific date, to guarantee the instrument will be
away from your company for the minimum period of time. To pre-book your calibration please fill in the enquiry
form below. If, during inspection of your instrument, calibration is not possible due to a fault with the
instrument, a quotation detailing the work required will be sent within 48 hours of receipt of goods. Please
remember to include your official purchase order with the goods when returning your instrument for calibration.
We offer a re-calibration service in our laboratory or our on-site calibration service, where our engineer will
come to you and calibrate your equipment on-site, saving valuable down-time.
We also offer 1 year up to 3 year return-to-factory or on-site calibration contracts. These contracts can be
tailored to suit your individual needs. We also offer calibration services, along with a limited adjustment and
repair facility for a number of non-Mecmesin manufactured products.

Please note that we can only issue certificates in the name of the original purchaser.

Customized Solutions:
Mecmesin can also design and deliver custom engineered force and torque testing solutions for your specific
application. For example design of specialised accessories, advice on test methods and application specific
test systems.
