The Vortex-d is our entry-level system for straightforward torque tests
The Vortex-d range is a basic motorised torque test system for measuring static and rotary torque up to 10N.m, and combines with Mecmesin's universal display to ensure repeatable, accurate results. Though simple to operate, the Vortex-d range benefits from many advanced test features to meet common testing requirements.

User-friendly intuitive keypad interface
The keypad is designed to make testing as simple and quick as possible. A large LCD screen clearly displays clockwise/counter-clockwise speeds and displacement data.
Flexible 'Smart' transducer selection
Choose from 1.5, 6 and 10N.m transducers, which are easily interchangeable (plug-and-play) to accurately assess between delicate and robust applications.
Precision speed controller
Easily adjust speeds in small increments, then lock this function to avoid accidental adjustment before and during the test.
Top-loading Capability
Apply set loads to assess Child-Resistant Closures.
RS232 data output
Export data direct to a PC for further analysis and reporting
Combines with Mecmesin's universal display
Use the Vortex-d with Mecmesin's digital torque display, the AFTI for further advanced test options including:
- Pass/Fail alarms
- Memory function 500 readings
- View 1st and ultimate max readings
Compatible with Mecmesin's data acquisition software
Evaluate your test data further using Mecmesin's Emperor Lite data acquisition software.
