New Low Cost Force Gauge With Data Transfer Capability
The CFG+, from Mecmesin, is a low cost digital force gauge designed for simple tension and compression tests.
Based on Mecmesin’s popular Compact Force Gauge (CFG) model, the CFG+ retains the lightweight plastic housing, accuracy of 0.5% of full scale, display of peak hold in tension and compression, and tests in a range of measurement units, including N, mN, lbf, ozf, kgf and gf.
The useful addition of an RS232 port enables easy transmission of data from the gauge to a peripheral device, such as a PC, for storing and evaluating results further.
The CFG+ ensures quick, easy force application tests in the field and can also be mounted to a test stand for in-house testing of non-critical applications. Seen as an alternative to traditional spring balances, the CFG+ is available in 3 capacities (50N, 200N and 500N), and comes complete with a set of accessories to facilitate immediate testing.
