Door, Gate & Barrier Testers

To ensure safety and correct performance of manual and automatic doors, gates and barriers, Mecmesin offers two kits designed to measure in accordance with specific standards.

 

1. Mecmesin's Manual Handling Kit

Manual Handling kit with advanced force gauge, gripping handle and comrpession plate

Includes a digital force gauge and accessories to measure the load required to operate doors, door activators, emergency devices and other building hardware. Use this kit to comply with;

  • EN 12217 - Doors - operating forces
  • EN 1154 - Building hardware. Controlled door closing devices
  • EN 179 - Building hardware. Emergency exit devices operated by a lever handle or push-pad
  • Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliance

2. Microtronic Impact Force Testers

Specifically designed to ensure safety for the operator, this kit focusses on identifying the impact force of automatic or power-operated doors, gates and barriers.Use this kit to comply with;
